What I'm Watching

Let's talk TV

or more correctly, Netflix (which may be the greatest invention ever!).

I don't normally have a lot of time during the week to watch TV.

And since I don't have cable, Dish or Directv,

I don't have the option to DVR anything during the week. 

Which isn't normally a big deal because like I said 

I don't usually have a lot of time to watch TV during the week.

But I have a love love love relationship with my Netflix.

So let's talk about what I've been watching.

1. Sons of Anarchy

I've blogged about my love for this show before here.

Well I got bored the other week when I was sick with the flu

and decided to re-watch the first four seasons of the show.

I cannot wait for season six to start.

I've also gotten a girl at work hooked on the show and now we talk about it when work is slow.

2. Hart of Dixie

I saw somebody blog about this show a few weeks ago.

So I checked it out and loved it!

Not only is the main character hilarious and relatable 

but it never ceased to amaze me how clueless she could be.

I also liked that it was set in a small town so I could related to it.

3. Pretty Little Liars

I know I'm really behind on this craze.

But it showed up on my suggested list 

and I figured with how much everyone talks about it I should give it a shot.

I'm obsessed. 

I think I watched the whole first season in 3 days. 

Every episode has a new twist. 

I've also had a couple friends recommend the shows Revenge and Scandal. 

Any thoughts on those two?

I'm probably going to check them out once I finish PLL.

Use To

I use to go out on Friday and Saturday nights, 

and now I sit at home watching movies.

I use to wake up with hangovers on the weekends,

(see above)

and now I wake up feeling refreshed.

I use to know what I wanted to do with my life,

and now I'm contemplating going back to school.

I use to have a large group of fake friends,

and now I have a small group of true friends.

I use to be able to sleep at night,

and now I'm awake until all hours of the night.

I use to want to move across the country,

and now I just don't know.

I use to have better things to write about,

and now I'm just making these crazy lists. 

I use to have long hair,

and then I decided to cut it all off today.

I use to have better things to do with my life,

and now I'm looking at Harry Potter pins on Pinterest.

I use to have a Facebook account,

but then I got tired of my news feed being nothing but

 "Like for this, Share for that, Comment if you love your Mother."

I just realized how absolutely crazy this whole entire post must make me look. 

But then I reminded myself that this is my blog and I can write what I want.

After a long absence I figured it was time to catch everyone up.

 Just a beautiful picture on my drive home for work one night. One of my favorite things about living in the country is being able to experience things like this.

A random bar-hopping night with some friends, Bridgett and Alycia.

 And I've been trying out some new craft beers.
I wasn't a big fan of the Deschutes, but I really like Shift.

I honestly don't even know the last time I did a weekend recap.

Or a link-up for that matter.

Let's see...

 

Friday:

Went to work. Served some people's some food. Had a nice lunch with my momma.

After work I painted my nails (which now need to be redone thanks to a weekend of work)

Colored my hair (which is still not the color I want it to be)

and called it a night.

 

Saturday:

Woke up bright and early due to the fact that I was a lameo Friday night.

Bought these adorable little things

I mean really is there anything more adorable than ducklings?!

After getting those guys all settled into their new home I transformed myself from farm girl to working girl and did a little bartending.

I need to locate the nearest tanning bed ASAP!

 

Sunday:

Worked again.

Dealt with Winter Storm Virgil which dumped a boatload of snow.

 

Now here it is Monday and I'm at work again.

I have already been awake for entirely too long.

I still have 10 more work hours ahead of me today.

You have officially been Pitch Slapped...

Aca-believe it!

Then The Skies Opened Up...

And God said, "I hate you Hannah."

 

But not really.

It was something more along the lines, of

"I've got this, Hannah. You just need to sit back and trust me."

And that's exactly what I did.

 

Yesterday, as well as a few days over the past week or so,

have been very trying and extremely difficult.

Yesterday was the worst!

I was convinced that my life was just about to go through another whirlwind.

Fortunately, everything worked out great.

It's amazing what a little faith can do.

 

 



When Life Gets Ya Down...

....You know what you gotta do? Just keep swimming!

This is going to be my philosophy for the next few weeks.
